Oversized Projects

High pressure, 2" thick and at 27,000 pounds these tanks are a challenge to move. Both interior and exterior required special handling and epoxy coatings had to be rated for immersion, chemical resistance as well as for pressure.

These units cannot fail prematurely as they are integral to the operation of turbines and must be coated right the first time.

specialized Coatings

Only two products are approved for use in the casting pits by the Aluminum Assoc. This is one of them: A High Solids specialized epoxy for the aluminum industry applied at 10-20 mils per coat.

 

It not only prevents corrosion; it prevents molten metal explosions.

Off-Site Services

When challenged by freezing temperatures and low dew points, a professional contractor in CDA knew to call us here at Northwest Sandblast and Paint.

 

This building would be used for waste treatment turning waste into fertilizer, and would require specialty moisture and acidic resistant coatings that included Zinc, epoxy and urethane.


Located in a residential area we were careful to watch prevailing winds to ensure no overspray drifted onto residential homes nearby.
